Looking for an opportunity to volunteer for Wildlife near Singapore? Volunteer for Baby Sea Turtles in Tioman, a popular Singapore weekend destination.
During this 1 week volunteer experience, get involved first hand in a small, humble turtle conversation project on the lesser known, East side of Tioman Island.
Conducted during the peak hatching season of Baby Sea Turtles in August, this trip provides the best chance for you to see baby sea turtles, as well as release them to the ocean. *Wildlife hatching may not be guaranteed.
Volunteer activities to expect: early morning and late night beach patrols looking out for nesting mother Sea Turtles, education on Sea Turtle Conservation issues, beach clean ups, aiding in basic housekeeping chores around the centre. Recreational activities include snorkeling and hiking.
*No Baby Sea Turtles are kept at the conservation centre, as we believe this is detrimental to their survival in the wild.
